The Blankenburg connection is a new highway (the A24), which from 2024 will connect the A20 near Vlaardingen with the A15 near Rozenburg. The 4.2 km stretch includes a 900-meter-long immersed tube tunnels under the fairway (Maas Delta Tunnel) and a 510-meter-long land tunnel (Holland Tunnel).
For the Maas Delta Tunnel, we supplied the so-called closing joint formwork. These steel elements weigh approximately 147 tons and measure 42,900 x 2,914 x 2,022 mm (L x W x H)
